Terms and Conditions

The terms governing use of our website, lessons, courses, and educational services.

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of These Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of GoTCFCanada.com and the online educational services offered by Farid Bouchikhi under the GoTCFCanada name. By accessing the website, booking a lesson, joining a course, or purchasing a service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Cookie Policy.

2. Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful personal and educational purposes. You must not interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, introduce malicious code, scrape or reproduce protected content, impersonate another person, or use the site in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.

3. Educational Services

GoTCFCanada provides online TCF Canada preparation, private one-to-one lessons, semi-private group classes, French courses from A1 to B2, mock tests, pronunciation coaching, and related educational support. Service descriptions, schedules, formats, and included materials may vary by offer and will be stated on the relevant page or booking communication.

Courses provide preparation and guidance only. No result, score, immigration outcome, admission decision, or language level is guaranteed.

4. Lesson Booking and Scheduling

  • A booking is confirmed only after payment or written confirmation from GoTCFCanada.
  • Students must verify the stated time zone and join using the approved online platform.
  • Private lessons may be scheduled by mutual agreement and subject to availability.
  • Group classes follow the published or confirmed schedule. A student’s absence does not change the group timetable.
  • Packages should be used within the validity period stated at purchase or, if none is stated, within six months of the purchase date.

5. Prices, Payments, and Taxes

Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout or in the booking confirmation. GoTCFCanada may change prices prospectively, but a confirmed and paid booking will not be repriced. Payment must be made through an accepted payment method. Bank, currency-conversion, or payment-provider fees may be charged separately by your provider. Students are responsible for any taxes or charges that apply to them unless the law requires otherwise.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling

  • Private lessons: requests to cancel or reschedule should be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start. Late cancellations and no-shows are normally charged in full.
  • Semi-private and group classes: sessions take place at the scheduled time. Missed classes are normally non-refundable and a private make-up lesson is not guaranteed.
  • Teacher cancellation: if GoTCFCanada cancels a session, we will offer a reasonable reschedule, replacement session, account credit, or refund for the affected session.

Additional details appear in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Refund Policy

Refund eligibility depends on the service, timing of the request, services already delivered, and applicable consumer law. Completed lessons, no-shows, and late-cancelled sessions are not refundable except where required by law. Group programs and digital materials have additional conditions. Please review the full Refund Policy before purchasing.

8. Student Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate contact and booking information.
  • Attend on time with a stable internet connection, compatible device, microphone, and camera where required.
  • Participate respectfully and avoid disrupting other learners.
  • Complete reasonable preparation and practice activities.
  • Keep access links and course materials confidential.
  • Do not record a lesson or another participant without prior written consent.

We may suspend participation for abusive, discriminatory, fraudulent, unsafe, or seriously disruptive behavior, subject to any rights required by law.

9. Intellectual Property and Copyright

The website, lesson plans, mock tests, explanations, videos, graphics, downloads, course documents, and other original materials are owned by or licensed to GoTCFCanada and are protected by copyright and other intellectual-property laws. A purchase gives the student a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use materials for individual study.

You may not copy, publish, sell, share, upload, translate for distribution, record, or create derivative commercial materials without prior written permission. TCF and TCF Canada names and official materials belong to their respective rights holders; GoTCFCanada is an independent preparation service and is not the official exam administrator.

10. Third-Party Platforms

Lessons or payments may use third-party services such as video conferencing, email, scheduling, or payment platforms. Their separate terms and privacy policies apply. GoTCFCanada is not responsible for outages or acts outside its reasonable control, but will make reasonable efforts to provide an appropriate solution when a provider issue materially affects a paid service.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GoTCFCanada is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-opportunity damages, including exam fees, travel, immigration outcomes, admissions decisions, lost profits, or data loss. Our total liability arising from a paid service will not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.

12. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections that may apply in your country of residence. Before starting formal proceedings, both parties agree to try in good faith to resolve a dispute by written communication. Courts with competent jurisdiction in Indonesia will have jurisdiction unless applicable law requires otherwise.

13. Changes and Severability

We may update these Terms for future use of the website or services. Updated Terms will be posted with a revised date. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
