Refund Policy

Clear and fair rules for cancellations, missed lessons, credits, and eligible refunds.

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Scope of This Policy

This Refund Policy applies to online lessons, courses, mock tests, pronunciation coaching, and related educational services purchased directly from GoTCFCanada. It should be read with our Terms and Conditions. Where mandatory consumer law provides stronger rights, those rights prevail.

2. How to Request a Refund

Send a request to gotcfcanada@gmail.com with your full name, purchase date, service purchased, payment reference, and reason for the request. Refunds are returned, where possible, to the original payment method. Payment-provider, bank, currency-conversion, or non-recoverable transaction fees may be deducted where permitted.

3. Private Lessons

  • A single private lesson cancelled at least 24 hours before its start may be rescheduled without charge or refunded if it has not been delivered.
  • A private lesson cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, is normally charged in full and is not refundable.
  • For a lesson package cancelled before the first lesson and requested within 14 days of purchase, we will generally refund the unused amount, less non-recoverable transaction fees, provided the program has not begun.
  • After a package has started, an approved refund is limited to unused eligible lessons. Delivered, late-cancelled, or missed lessons are deducted, and any package discount may be recalculated based on the standard rate for lessons already delivered.

4. Semi-Private and Group Classes

  • A request received at least seven days before the first scheduled group class may be eligible for a refund, less non-recoverable fees.
  • Once a cohort or group program has begun, fees are normally non-refundable because a place has been reserved and the group schedule and pricing depend on enrolment.
  • Missed group classes are not refundable, and a private make-up class is not guaranteed.
  • Where feasible, we may offer access to a later cohort, a credit, or shared materials at our discretion.

5. Student Cancellations and Missed Lessons

Cancellation notice must be sent through the agreed communication channel and is effective when received. A student who joins late receives only the remaining session time. Failure to attend, technology not being ready, or an incorrect time-zone calculation by the student does not normally create a refund right.

6. Teacher Cancellations

If Farid Bouchikhi or an authorized GoTCFCanada teacher cancels a paid lesson, the student will be offered a rescheduled lesson, replacement class, account credit, or refund for the affected undelivered session. If a program is cancelled by GoTCFCanada before it begins, affected students will receive a refund for the cancelled program.

7. Technical Issues

  • If a material technical failure on GoTCFCanada’s side or the selected teaching platform prevents delivery, we will normally reschedule the session or provide a credit.
  • If a technical issue is caused by the student’s device, connection, software, power supply, or environment, a refund is not automatic. We will nevertheless try to find a reasonable solution where circumstances permit.
  • Students should test their internet connection, microphone, camera, and required software before class.

8. Mock Tests and Pronunciation Coaching

Booked live mock tests and pronunciation sessions follow the private-lesson cancellation rules unless the offer states otherwise. Feedback already prepared or delivered is considered a supplied service and is not refundable. If an assessment cannot be completed because of a verified provider or teacher failure, we will offer a reschedule, credit, or proportionate refund.

9. Digital Products

Future ebooks, recordings, templates, question banks, and downloadable materials are digital products. Unless required by law, a digital product is not refundable after the download, access link, or digital content has been supplied. Before delivery, a cancellation may be accepted if processing has not begun. If a file is materially defective or inaccessible, contact us promptly so we can replace it, restore access, or provide another remedy.

10. Exceptional Circumstances

We recognize that serious illness, bereavement, emergencies, or other exceptional events may occur. Contact us as soon as possible and provide reasonable supporting information where appropriate. We may offer a reschedule, extension, credit, transfer, or partial refund on a case-by-case basis. This discretion does not limit rights available under applicable law.

11. Refund Timing

Approved refunds are normally initiated within 7–10 business days. The time for funds to appear depends on the bank or payment provider and may take longer. GoTCFCanada is not responsible for delays within the recipient’s bank or payment network after the refund has been issued.

12. Contact
